Policies

Cancellations

If it should become necessary for you to cancel your appointment, we respectfully request that you provide 24 hours' notice prior to your scheduled visit. This allows us to accomodate patients who might request appointments on short notice.

Remote Monitoring

Many of our patients have implantable devices (pacemakers and defibrillators) or cardiac rhythm monitors that can transmit data to our office. We ask that transmittals only be sent according to the schedule that we establish. If you wish to transmit data at other times, or if you have other concerns, please call our office.

How We Work With Your Cardiologist

We work in close collaboration with your regular cardiologist or primary care physician to develop a treatment plan for your individual problem, and we communicate with your doctor on a regular basis. It is very important that you continue to follow up as usual with the physician that referred you to our practice.

If You Are Hospitalized

If you require hospitalization, please notify the admitting physician that you are a patient under our care.
